Join us on April 24th 2027 at Vane Tempest Hall. Named after the influential Vane-Tempest family, Vane Tempest Hall has had many uses over the years since it was originally built. In 1884, the building operated as a Smallpox hospital, with the stables acting as a “dead room” for the deceased. It has also served as militia barracks. There have been various reports of paranormal activity, including slamming doors, footsteps when there is no one around, the sound of things being dragged, along with whispering and murmuring voices being heard from empty corridors and rooms.

The investigation will start at 9pm and end at 2am.

Address: Vane Tempest Hall, Maynard's Row, Durham DH1 1QF

Remember to layer up as the venue can be chilly and wear sensible shoes in case of uneven terrain.

Drinks and snacks provided as always.
